We are pleased to introduce our new Bike & Hike service, designed for everyone who loves to explore the nature of the Trnovo Plateau and the Vipava Valley in an active and relaxed way. At Glamping Zarja, we now offer high-quality electric mountain bike rentals, perfect for both challenging climbs above Ajdovščina and leisurely exploration of the Karst trails.
You can choose from men's and women's e-mountain bikes with premium suspension, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. Upon arrival, we provide a map with specially marked hiking and cycling routes leading to the most beautiful viewpoints overlooking Vipava and the Adriatic Sea.

Start with an e-bike ride from Glamping Zarja to the pasture of the Zarja farm – then continue on foot to Strliški vrh. Take the bike to Javornik and hike to the lookout tower, which offers a view of the entire Vipava Valley. From there, descend to the Church of Sv. Duh and return via Srednja Gora to our shelter in Col above Ajdovščina.
Begin your e-bike adventure at Glamping Zarja and head towards Podkraj, passing the historic bunkers of the Rupnik Line. Continue to the village of Bela and visit the Razpotnik Waterfall, followed by a descent to Col above Ajdovščina. From Col, ride to Vodice and through the forest to Hrušica and the historic site of Stara Pošta. Enjoy a short walk around the Ad Pirum fortress before returning to Glamping Zarja.
Connect the Vipava and Postojna regions! Set off from Glamping Zarja to the world-famous Predjama Castle (near Postojna). On your return, stop at Hrušica to explore the Ad Pirum fortress at Stara Pošta, where excellent local cuisine awaits.
Conquer the symbol of the Vipava Valley. Start at Glamping Zarja, ride towards Podkraj, and continue the ascent to the magnificent Nanos Plateau. Enjoy a circular tour of Nanos with panoramic views of Slovenia before returning.
